Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Expeditor 3 in Salt Lake City, UT to expedite, route, and dispatch material according to production schedules. You will review schedules, alert for potential shortages, and generate progress reports to keep orders on track.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED with manufacturing/production control experience, familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems, and strong teamwork and Microsoft Office skills. Lift up to 30 lbs as required.

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Expeditor 3 based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

What You’ll Get To Do

• Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments.
• Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts proper authorities of potential problems.
• Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders.
• Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation.
• Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, ability to pay attention to detail, and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 4 years additional education and/or experience in manufacturing, production control, or related fields.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP/MRP system.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Functional understanding of Microsoft Office Products.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience with SAP
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $48,400.00 - $80,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
