Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Commerce, CA seeks a Manufacturing Expeditor Level 2/3 to serve as the primary customer interface for CS and EAM, expediting test equipment and coordinating with internal and external partners. The role includes equipment accountability, status updates, and process improvements within TEAMMS and Calibration systems.

Responsibilities cover routing, dispatching, and ensuring timely delivery of METROLOGY assets, with training at NG Space Park.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
  • No clearance required to start.
  • Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Military Logistics, Maintenance Management or Aerospace industry inventory and/or Supply Support experience required.
  • Valid California State Driver’s License; Class C for driving NG vehicles.
  • Willingness to change physical work locations based on operational need.
  • Candidate is expected to train for 2-weeks at NG Space Park, Redondo Beach, CA for initial training and integration prior to starting work at Commerce.
  • Level 3 requires SCI clearance and related metrology/calibration experience.

  • Accountable for reviewing and managing workload based on daily Coordinator Performance Reports, ensuring performance metrics remain within specific thresholds.
  • Maintain excellent database integrity via inventory reconciliation of equipment between TEAMMS database, Pool/Stock Inventory and customer Areas of Operation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Manufacturing Expeditor – Level 2 or Level 3 to join our team in Commerce, CA.

Northrop Grumman ISD is seeking a Manufacturing Expeditor 2/3 to join our Customer Support (CS) team. The Manufacturing Expeditor serves as the primary customer interface of the CS section, as well as the Engineering Asset Management (EAM) department, executing recall and disbursement of Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) with the end user and the calibration labs. Working daily with internal customers, strategic organizational partners, external vendors/suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), the Manufacturing Expeditor ensures equipment is managed and transported safely, in the most effective manner possible, between customers/end-users and metrology services activities.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

In This Job, You Will

Basic Qualifications For Level 2

  • Candidate is expected to train for 2-weeks at NG Space Park, Redondo Beach, CA for initial training and integration prior to starting work at Commerce.

  • No clearance required to start

  • Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) classification codes: USMC-0431 or 0411 series; USAAF-2S0 or SC0 series, USA 92 or 91 series

Primary Level Salary Range: $47,200.00 - $78,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $56,000.00 - $93,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
