Job summary

Quest Global in Windsor Locks, CT, is seeking a on-site Warehouse/Material Handler to support production operations. You will replenish materials, stage components, and update system status to reflect current locations, ensuring smooth material flow for shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in manufacturing, SAP experience, and strong communication and coordination skills. You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish and deliver materials to workstations across shifts
  • Update Andon system to reflect hardware location
  • Stage and kit materials for upcoming builds per schedule
  • Coordinate with Receiving, Logistics, and Production Planners to ensure material availability
  • Confirm material readiness and communicate gaps
  • Assist with clear-to-build checks by verifying material presence
  • Identify missing materials or tooling and escalate to the appropriate team
  • Provide floor-level visibility on material constraints or delays
  • Support expedited material runs during shortages
  • Maintain organized staging areas and labeling
  • Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Logistics, Planning for smooth execution flow

What You Will Do:

  • Replenish and deliver materials directly to workstations throughout production shifts
  • Update Andon system (lab status monitor) to reflect current physical location of hardware
  • Stage and kit materials required for upcoming builds based on the production schedule
  • Coordinate closely with Receiving, Logistics, and Production Planners to ensure material availability
  • Support material readiness by confirming that components required for upcoming work orders are available and communicating gaps
  • Assist with basic clear‑to‑build checks by verifying material presence at point‑of‑use
  • Help identify when materials, components, or tooling are missing and escalating the appropriate team
  • Provide floor‑level visibility to Operations and Planning regarding material constraints or delays
  • Support expedited material runs when shortages or priority changes occur
  • Maintain organized staging areas and ensure materials, containers, and consumables are accessible and properly labeled
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Quality, Logistics, Planning) to ensure smooth execution flow

What You Will Bring:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year directly interacting with cross functional teams
  • SAPexperience
  • Strongcommunicationand coordination skills
  • Ability to influence without authority in a manufacturing floor environment
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required

Pay Range:$24.00/hour - $29.00/hour

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:This role is considered an on-site position located inWindsor Locks, CT.

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel Requirements:Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.

Citizenship Requirement:Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
