Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Ocala, FL is seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement & Manufacturing Engineer Manager to lead the manufacturing engineering and process improvement function in a pressure vessel environment. You will drive Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery and cost performance.

You will partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Maintenance to implement sustainable processes, enhance ASME code compliance, and scale production capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in industrial environment.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing initiatives and process improvements.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience analyzing production data and developing performance improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering team to drive process improvements.
• Develop and optimize fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, tests, and finishing processes.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and operational excellence initiatives to reduce waste.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to improve manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Lead capital equipment evaluations, justifications and implementations.
• Support capacity planning and production scalability initiatives.
• Develop and execute the company's continuous improvement strategy.
