Job summary

SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Lead at our Southside Soapbox facility in Chicago to drive loss elimination across operations. You will lead diagnostics, strengthen TPM, and coach teams to implement structured problem solving for sustained improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/continuous improvement, and fluency with Lean, TPM, OEE, 5S and data tools like Excel/Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, business or related discipline.
• Experience leading Lean/TPM/World Class Manufacturing initiatives with measurable results.
• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams to drive change and accountability.
• Strong analytical and digital capabilities with Excel, Power BI, SAP, Redzone, and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the Southside Soapbox continuous improvement strategy and roadmap, prioritizing loss-elimination opportunities and driving measurable results.
• Lead diagnostics and loss analysis using KPIs to improve downtime, OEE, schedule adherence, scrap and productivity.
• Strengthen Lean and TPM management system including Daily Management, 5S, visual management, standard work and problem solving.
• Coach structured problem solving, kaizen and loss-elimination with frontline leaders to sustain improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate improvement opportunities into executable plans and business results.
• Use Redzone, analytics and AI tools to identify trends and turning data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Finance to validate cost savings, productivity, capacity gains and service improvements.
