Job summary

Panasonic Energy in Reno, NV is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Conversion to modify production equipment for new product models and keep systems running safely. You’ll perform mechanical and electrical updates, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements. The role requires learning SOPs and assisting with operator tasks as needed.

Onsite shift is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with duties including equipment changes, preventive maintenance, and keeping thorough records of all work performed.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Basic/required: some high school education; preferred: HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical hardware changes to meet cell model requirements.
• Measure and adjust cell dimensions to specifications.
• Inspect and prepare incoming hardware for line conversions.
• Check settings, gauges, and sensors to keep machines within specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines per documented requirements.
• Maintain complete records of all work done on equipment.
