Job summary

EQVAL Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment in Añasco, PR.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and downtime reduction across lathes, freezers, furnaces, and related systems. You will work 12-hour shifts on-site, with nights and weekends, and collaborate with CMMS systems (Maximo, SAP, Oracle) to manage work orders, inspections, and documentation.

Qualifications

Associate or Technical Degree completed in a technical field.
Bilingual English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
Experience with CMMS: Maximo, SAP, Oracle.
Hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, nights and weekends in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting and repairs to keep manufacturing equipment running efficiently.
Minimize downtime and maximize capacity.
Inspect and test machinery to diagnose problems and perform repairs.
Provide recommendations to improve capacity and efficiency of equipment.
Manage preventive maintenance and spare parts per procedures.
Maintain CMMS records, work orders, and inspection reports.
Support equipment qualifications, process validations, and transfers as needed.
Conduct effective shift handoffs between technicians and supervisors.
