Job summary

EmergencyMD is looking for a dedicated team member to support customers in our service center and warehouse in Houston, Texas. The role involves operating equipment, setting up painting equipment, and overseeing training for new machine operators.

Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of warehouse experience, be able to lift heavy items, and demonstrate strong organizational skills. Benefits include health insurance, an annual bonus, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2+ years of general warehouse experience and operating manufacturing equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift.
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices.
• Ability to make independent decisions.

Job description

Reports to: Painting Supervisor

Primary Responsibility: Support MIRATECH customers with work in our service center and warehouse. Operating equipment and support product creation and order fulfillment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am to 3pm

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• General Labor
• Setting up painting equipment
• Overseeing training of new or Junior Machine Operators
• Using machine equipment to complete tasks
• Evaluating efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2 + years of general warehouse experience and operating manufacturing equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift.
• Forklift, crane, shear, and/or roller operation experience.
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Attention to detail.
• Organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods of time
