Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Equip Maint Technician for its San Jose, CA PCB facility. The role involves performing preventative maintenance on conveyorized equipment, CNC machines, lamination presses, and plating equipment, with opportunities across shifts.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in PCB, electroplating, semiconductor or related process industries is a plus.
• Associates or technical degree preferred.
• Heavy lifting may be required.
• OT, on-call, and some weekends as needed.
• Must work with a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and coordinates with manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Troubleshoots electrical or mechanical issues in electro-mechanical equipment used in production.
• Safely works on control cabinets and electrical panels.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and reassembles equipment per drawings/manuals.
• Uses diagnostic tools to evaluate equipment and performance.
• Rebuilds and repairs equipment as needed.
• May implement equipment modifications as directed by management.
• Oversees removal/installation of equipment and adheres to safety guidelines.
