Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Manufacturing Sector Business Technology Architect to steer enterprise architecture strategy across business, data, application, OT and ERP programs. You will translate executive priorities into roadmaps and target-state architectures for clients in manufacturing sectors.

You will work with SAP S/4HANA migrations, MES/MOM modernization, and connected supply chain initiatives, shaping multi‑year programs while aligning IT/OT and cloud platforms for value delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 12+ years in enterprise/solution architecture or senior tech leadership in manufacturing/industrial sector.
• Proven track record with executive and operations stakeholders in large manufacturing orgs.
• Strong background in cloud and data platforms, APIs, IIoT, and integration.
• Experience leading architecture teams and cross‑functional initiatives IT/OT.
• Able to translate business strategy into architecture roadmaps and value outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own design, delivery, and governance of enterprise architecture solutions across manufacturing domains.
• Advise CIO/CTO/COO and senior leaders, translating strategy into tech direction.
• Translate business outcomes into architectural requirements and platform decisions.
• Define architecture standards, patterns, and review processes for IT and OT.
• Lead architecture strategy for Smart Factory, MES/MOM, ERP transformations and PLM programs.
• Drive OT/IT convergence across plant-floor systems, IIoT, edge computing, data environments.
• Serve as Design Authority ensuring integrity across apps, data, integrations, and OT.
• Lead vendor assessments, RFP support, and security considerations.
• Identify and shape opportunities by linking client challenges to multi-year transformations.
• Support executive workshops and roadmap definitions with clear tech visions.
