Job summary

IEM seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Jacksonville to support day-to-day center execution, process optimization, and documentation for metal fabrication and assembly. You’ll work under senior engineers to meet KPIs, safety standards, and production targets.

You will help develop SOPs, monitor processes, conduct root-cause analyses, and assist in cross-functional projects implementing new manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
• Ability to translate engineering intents into repeatable work instructions.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods (Lean, 5S).

Responsibilities

• Assist in optimizing metal fabrication and assembly processes.
• Develop work instructions and SOPs for consistent production.
• Support quality assurance with process monitoring and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to process validations, capacity analysis, and trials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new tech implementations.
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement projects.
