Job description

We are actively seeking an Engineering Technician. While experience is beneficial, it's not strictly required as we're committed to training and developing the chosen individual.

Position Overview: The role of the Engineering Technician involves designing, executing, and assessing procedures and equipment in the manufacturing process to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the formation and implementation of policies, standards, and procedures for the Engineering and Production sectors.
  • Develop and document complex manufacturing methods.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to machining processes.
  • Engineer, construct, and improve tooling, fixtures, and CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and system maintenance.
  • Assist in managing ISO 9001 QMS.
  • Analyze non-conforming parts for adjustments and document findings.
  • Contribute to business quoting, design analysis, quality planning, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Manage CNC program files and provide technical training to Production staff.

Skills:

  • Prioritize safety.
  • Experience with manual machines is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to develop and oversee project strategies.
