We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Technician II to support and improve manufacturing operations at our Cleveland, Ohio facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement experience who thrives in a regulated manufacturing environment. You\'ll play a key role in supporting production equipment, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and helping drive operational excellence.
What You\'ll Do
- Support daily manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with cGMP, FDA, ISO, OSHA, and company quality requirements.
- Lead projects that improve manufacturing cost, quality, productivity, and overall operational performance.
- Perform and coordinate preventive maintenance activities for production equipment and support systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment and automated systems.
- Create and revise technical documentation including SOPs, engineering change requests, specifications, maintenance records, and process verification documents.
- Support calibration activities for gauges, instruments, and production equipment.
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, staging, and production line support activities.
- Identify equipment reliability issues and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
- Assist with process validation, engineering projects, equipment installations, and R&D initiatives.
- Participate in investigations, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in a technical role involving machinery, manufacturing processes, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred
- Associate degree, bachelor\'s degree, or technical certification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or a related field.
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, filling systems, conveyors, packaging, and labeling equipment.
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards, equipment qualification, and validation activities.
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) training or certification.
