Job summary

Advanced Assembly, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support our electronics manufacturing operation on the 2nd shift, maintaining and improving test equipment and production fixtures.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing and Test Engineering to ensure reliable production, high quality, and ongoing process improvements in PCBAs and test systems. The role requires problem-solving skills and hands-on engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or related field.
• Three or more years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment, fixtures, or automated production equipment.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic test fixtures, programming equipment, and manufacturing tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on production test equipment.
• Validate manufacturing test fixtures and analyze equipment failures.
• Maintain and implement approved test software revisions.
• Support production by quickly resolving technical issues affecting manufacturing.
• Design, develop, source, and improve manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Test Engineering on process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, operating instructions, and known-good PCBAs.
