Job description

Due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be U.S. citizens.

Our client is seeking an early-career manufacturing or process engineering professional with hands-on experience supporting electronics or electromechanical production. They will likely have an associate degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering technology, or a related discipline, although a recent BSEE graduate with practical manufacturing experience would also be a strong fit.

They should have approximately one to three years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, such as PCB/PCBA assembly, SMT, aerospace electronics, medical devices, avionics, or contract manufacturing. They can read schematics, specifications, and mechanical or engineering drawings; troubleshoot production and test problems; and create or update clear manufacturing and test work instructions.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with:

• ESD-controlled production environments
• Electronic manufacturing or production systems
• FMEA, risk management, or process validation
• DFM or DFA principles
• Production-line layouts and assembly/test processes
• ISO 9001, AS9100, or another regulated quality system
• 5S or 6S manufacturing practices
• Microscopes, fine tools, and detailed electronic assemblies
