Job summary

InvestedintheMission is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead engineering activities, resolve manufacturing issues, and ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery of composite fabrication and assemblies.

The role emphasizes Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, process improvement, and cross‑functional teamwork with program managers to meet schedules and budgets. U.S. citizenship may be required and travel up to 10% could be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, or similar field is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in supervisory role.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical fields in Aerospace, Automotive, or Commercial industries.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports development, maintenance, and improvement of manufacturing processes focusing on efficiency and quality.
• Leads Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and lead times.
• Analyzes production metrics to trigger and lead improvement projects.
• Establishes standard hours and operation sequences for current and future production processes.
• Generates work instructions, assembly procedures, and documentation controlling the manufacturing process.
• Participates in root-cause analysis and problem solving to resolve materials, design, equipment, and personnel issues.
• Leads Design for Manufacturing considerations with engineering teams.
