Job summary

Rosenboom Machine & Tool seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead our engineering support team on the Sheldon, IA floor. You will supervise Manufacturing Engineers, CNC Programmers, Tool Room Machinists, and Gage Crib personnel while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes and support production goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Manufacturing Engineers, CNC Programmers, Tool Room Machinists, and Gage Crib personnel to achieve departmental and plant objectives.
• Coordinate daily manufacturing support activities, including tooling, fixtures, gages, CNC programming, process improvements, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, Purchasing, and Plant Leadership to resolve issues and meet operational priorities.
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to support safe operations, reinforce standards, and remove barriers to productivity.
• Demonstrates strong servant leadership through accountability, communication, fairness, and a commitment to employee development.
• Effectively coaches, mentors, and develops team members by setting clear expectations and providing timely feedback and recognition.
• Builds collaborative relationships across departments and works constructively to solve problems and achieve shared goals.
• Demonstrates knowledge of machining, tooling, fixtures, gages, CNC programming, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
