Job summary

Career Connection Network seeks an Engineering Manager for a Jamestown-area role in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will lead tooling design and process improvements, manage engineers and projects, and drive manufacturability and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements include a engineering degree, 5+ years of related experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks is expected, along with a proactive approach to technology

Qualifications

Associate/Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
Five+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to solve complex problems with good judgment and decision making.
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other design software.
Ability to research and implement new technologies.
Quality control background is a plus.
Good time management skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee tooling, fixture and process design to meet customer requirements.
Develop, debug and improve tooling processing.
Design, integrate and improve manufacturing systems or related processes.
Bridge technical execution and business strategy by managing engineers, projects and processes.
Oversee the tool room management and tooling designs.
Identify opportunities to improve products or reduce costs.
