Manufacturing / Tooling Engineer
Job Summary

The Manufacturing / Tooling Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements. This role plays a key part in optimizing production efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring product designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes based on customer specifications
  • Support development, debugging, and continuous improvement of tooling and production processes
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing systems and workflows for efficiency and cost reduction
  • Determine root causes of failures and recommend improvements to designs, tolerances, or processes
  • Troubleshoot issues related to product design, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Review product designs for manufacturability, accuracy, and completeness
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve product performance
  • Research and implement new technologies, methods, and processes
  • Design, install, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
  • Communicate production capabilities, timelines, and technical information to support operations
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 2–5 years of related experience in manufacturing, tooling, or process engineering
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
