Job summary

Resonetics, a global leader in advanced engineering and micro manufacturing, seeks a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering in Hutchinson, MN. You will lead NPI and sustaining engineering to launch new products and optimize existing processes, balancing project timelines with continuous improvement and cost objectives.

The role requires strong technical leadership, project execution, and problem-solving in a fast-paced medical device environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
Experience mentoring engineers or leading teams.
Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) or product industrialization.
Experience managing multiple engineering projects in a fast-paced setting.
Experience in FDA or ISO 9000 regulated environments.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team for NPI and sustaining activities.
Oversee NPI execution from development transfer through validation and production readiness.
Coordinate with Lightspeed Labs, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet milestones and cost objectives.
Ensure accountability for NPI deliverables, timelines, and resources.
Lead process characterization, equipment qualification, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Balance NPI and sustaining priorities to support growth and maintain performance and reliability.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to align engineering with business goals.
Drive continuous improvement to improve yield, throughput, and reduce cycle times.
