Northrop Grumman in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering 1 to lead a team of manufacturing engineers in our Armament Systems unit. You will supervise staff, assign work, manage schedules, and control costs to meet productivity, quality, and delivery goals. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or STEM, plus 5 years of related experience (or a Master’s with 3 years).

SAP S/4HANA experience and lean/PES know-how are preferred. U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or STEM)
• 5 years of related professional engineering experience in manufacturing or, with a Master’s degree, 3 years
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and lean manufacturing concepts

Responsabilidades

• Provide direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents.
• Make decisions relating to daily work responsibilities.
• Monitor daily operations of exempt/non-exempt staff and assist as required.
• Coach direct reports in career development and teamwork.
• Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specifications to optimize equipment use.
• Ensure processes comply with regulations and company policy.
