Job summary

NewAge Industries in Pennsylvania seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers, drive Lean initiatives, and optimize manufacturing processes. The role focuses on continuous improvement, technology transfer, and CAPA-based root cause analysis.

Responsibilities include directing engineering staff, coordinating with R&D and operations, and delivering measurable impacts in cost, lead time, and quality. Domestic and international travel is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Design, Polymer or Industrial Engineering; advanced degree desirable.
• 10 years engineering experience with managerial experience preferred.
• Six Sigma, lean training highly desirable.
• Experience with silicone and thermoplastic injection molding/extrusion processing.
• Strong data analysis and report writing skills.
• Ability to plan, scope and manage technical projects.
• Excellent communication across all levels; change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a staff of manufacturing engineers and drive Lean initiatives.
• Plan and implement continuous improvement across operations.
• Transfer technology and integrate new equipment and processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPAs for SMRs.
• Collaborate with leadership to reduce costs and lead times.
• Travel 5-10% domestically and internationally.
