Job summary

Danfoss Turbocor in Tallahassee, Florida, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the engineering work that makes our production systems safer, more efficient, and ready for growth. You will guide a team of process and controls engineers while delivering new equipment, automation, and product introductions.

You will strengthen process safety and quality, implement PFMEAs and control plans, and advance digital and Lean manufacturing using MES, robotics, PLCs and Kaizen.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; 5+ years manufacturing/engineering experience.
• 1+ year leading complex projects in manufacturing or machinery.
• Practical knowledge of PLCs, MES, CAD/CAM; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team with safety and continuous improvement.
• Design and improve manufacturing processes across assembly, machining, and testing.
• Deliver new equipment, automation, and product launches with cross-functional coordination.
• Strengthen safety and quality through PFMEAs, control plans, and compliance.
• Advance digital and Lean manufacturing using MES, robotics, PLCs, Kaizen; reduce waste.
