Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required; advanced degree or leadership training preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or related fields.
• Proven people leadership and ability to develop engineers.
• Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team with clear priorities.
• Establish engineering standards and governance for manufacturing areas.
• Drive metrics like yield, uptime, OEE through disciplined execution.
• Lead programs of moderate to high complexity with regulatory alignment.
• Provide leadership for root cause analyses and CAPA activities.
• Ensure robust validation strategies including FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Plan resources and prioritize projects across operations and improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
• Prepare business cases, CARs, and schedules for leadership decisions.
• Support staffing governance and enforce compliant role approvals.
