Job summary

MRIGlobalSearch seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for a contract manufacturer in the Midwest. The role leads 4-5 engineers through tooling and product launches, from design to production, including capital projects in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5-7+ years in engineering management, deep knowledge of injection molding, and exposure to clean room processes, IQ/OQ/PQ validation, and Lean disciplines in regulated settings.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years engineering management leading & mentoring cross-functional teams (4-5 engineers) on tooling & product launches.
• Full knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and processes; preference for LSR.
• Experience with 13485 Clean Room Medical/Surgical products preferred.

Manufacturing Engineering Manager

We are partnering with a contract manufacturer to identify a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their team in the Midwest.

To be considered for an interview, the following experience/skills are desired:

• 5-7+ years engineering management leading & mentoring cross-functional Engineering teams (4-5 Engineers) on projects for entire new tooling & product launches from design to releases into production, capital projects, and other projects within a fast-paced environment
• Must have full knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and processes with preference to working with LSR-Liquid Silicone Rubber
• Experience molding 13485 Clean Room Medical/Surgical products is highly preferred but will consider other highly regulated Clean Room environments
• Preference to having either a Process Engineering or Tooling Engineering background with hands-on knowledge of process & tooling development, robots/automation
• Working knowledge of Lean principles, Value Stream implementations, and Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) procedures
• Understanding of all programs & systems including Maintenance CMMS, PMs, OSHA/Safety, and Quality guidelines
