Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an accomplished Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a growing team in a hands-on, regulatory environment. You will drive process optimization, oversee NPI and design transfer, and partner across R&D, Production, Quality, and Regulatory to enable scalable manufacturing.

The role emphasizes developing talent, mentoring engineers, and implementing Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to ensure compliant, efficient production and future product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive Manufacturing Engineering experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background in process engineering, manufacturing optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading NPI and design transfer from engineering into production.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, change control, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical devices, life sciences, aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulated manufacturing requirements.
• Support manufacturing automation, equipment calibration programs, and production scalability.
