Job summary
American Locker seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Las Vegas to lead readiness for products from prototype to production and drive engineering changes, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration on the shop floor.
You will manage rapid prototyping, NPI, and documentation like routings, BOMs, and labor standards while partnering with Quality and Operations to deliver scalable manufacturing.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- 3+ years sheet metal manufacturing experience.
- Experience leading manufacturing engineering teams.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and NPI.
- Knowledge of routings, work instructions, and labor standards.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma proficiency.
- Experience with BOMs, drawings, and ECO processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing readiness activities for prototypes through production.
- Develop routings, work instructions, and labor standards.
- Coordinate first-article builds and production launches.
- Improve production flow and reduce delays across teams.
- Lead Lean/Six Sigma improvement initiatives on the floor.
- Coach a small manufacturing engineering team and set priorities.
