Job summary

Saft in the United States is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead all engineering activities supporting safe, sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations.

You will shape the site's manufacturing strategy, oversee capital projects, implement automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives, mentor engineering teams, and partner with Operations, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7-10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all engineering activities to support safe, sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations.
• Develop and execute the site's manufacturing strategy with capital investments.
• Oversee capital projects, process improvements, and capacity planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team with clear goals and performance measures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Purchasing, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement.
