Job summary

IFAB seeks an engineering leader to drive all manufacturing and process engineering activities, ensuring safe and cost-efficient production that meets customer specs. This role spans design-for-manufacture, change control, tooling readiness and cross-functional collaboration with NPI, Sales, and Production teams.

You will own APQP/PPAP deliverables, PFMEA, control plans and validation, while guiding a multilingual engineering team and managing budgets and staffing to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated capabilities in design-for-manufacture, GD&T and engineering change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering function to ensure safe, cost-effective manufacturing aligned with customer requirements.
• Manage engineering intake, capacity, and prioritization across quotations, new parts, changes and sustaining support.
• Establish CAD/ GD&T standards, tooling design, fixture readiness and controlled release processes.
• Own APQP/PPAP deliverables, PFMEA, control plans and validation evidence.
• Provide disciplined technical root-cause analysis and drive improvements with Quality and Production.
• Monitor budget, staffing, and resources; coordinate with Estimating and Finance.
