Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Westborough, MA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop high-quality manufacturing processes and improve efficiency using LEAN and Six Sigma. The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least 6 years of experience in an ISO regulated environment. Proficiency in CAD, MRP/ERP systems, and strong technical aptitude are essential. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $115,000 based on experience, along with various benefits including health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in an ISO regulated capital equipment or contract manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods.
• Understanding of electro/mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality manufacturing processes for various products.
• Evaluate and recommend new software tools to enhance productivity.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency using LEAN, 5S, and Six Sigma methods.
• Provide manufacturing decision-making information to management.
• Direct activities and guide junior engineers and technicians.

Skills

Solid technical aptitude

Proficient with CAD (SolidWorks preferred)

Proficient in MRP/ERP systems
