Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 7+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Proven track record delivering productivity, quality, safety and cost improvements.
• Experience leading Manufacturing Engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, CI, and project management.
• Experience with standard processes, SOPs, cost-benefit analysis and engineering documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate risks.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Shop-floor leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth, manual environment.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, assign, and oversee engineering projects with clear scope and milestones.
• Lead, coach, and develop Manufacturing Engineers daily.
• Drive Lean principles and continuous improvement for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Establish standard work and engineering practices across operations and shifts.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, EHS, Maintenance, Facilities, Supply Chain, R&D, and Product/Design to implement improvements.
• Plan and manage equipment and capital projects from planning to implementation.
• Ensure processes meet safety, quality, ergonomics and QMS requirements.
• Establish project and performance tracking and communicate status to leadership.
• Develop a culture of ownership and continuous improvement within the team.
