Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead all ship disciplines through detail planning, converting EBOM to MBOM, and building the MES-based manufacturing plan for the first ship program at Port Alpha. In the near term, this role is hands-on and build-critical, requiring practical problem solving at the deck plate level.

• Significant hands-on shipyard manufacturing engineering experience.
• Direct experience building or maintaining MBOM from EBOM.
• Experience planning production work inside an MES.

Responsibilities

• Convert EBOM to MBOM for the first ship program.
• Build manufacturing plan in MES with routers and work centers.
• Own the MBOM and align MBOM/MES plan with master schedule.
• Lead and develop the manufacturing engineering team.
• Represent manufacturing in program reviews and manage planning risk.
