Job summary

Bemis Manufacturing Company seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, Thermoset, to contribute to continuous improvement projects at plant B in Sheboygan Falls, WI. You will assist with the Automated Hang On development, drawing fixtures and specifying equipment needs, while refining existing drawings for production.

The role expects you to be pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree or related field and to be proficient with CAD, preferably Creo.

• Pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Work on continuous improvement projects along with approved larger projects.
• Assist with the development project of Automated Hang On, designing fixtures and defining equipment needs.
• Clean up existing drawings and prints for equipment and fixtures currently in production.

Role Overview

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern, Thermoset will work on numerous continuous improvement projects at plant B. Assist with the larger development project of Automated Hang on. Standard work that a newer mechanical engineer would be working on.

Responsibilities

• Work on continuous improvement projects along with any approved larger projects.
• Be a part of a larger development project of Automated hang on, design by drawing up fixtures and defining equipment needs.
• Clean up existing drawings and prints for equipment and fixtures currently in production.

Skills/Requirements

• Pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in CAD (Creo Preferred)
