Danfoss is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Intern position in Milwaukee to gain hands-on experience improving processes and equipment that keep the facility running safely and efficiently. You will work with manufacturing engineers and shopfloor teams to turn ideas into practical improvements and analyze production data for tangible gains.

• Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office applications and using data to solve problems.
• Clear communication and collaboration with engineers, manufacturing employees, and other teams.
• Organized and able to manage time, priorities, and projects effectively.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn with the willingness to contribute ideas.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the design and implementation of tools, fixtures, shop aids, and equipment used in manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Partner with employees to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance safety and efficiency.
• Review and update procedures and work instructions, creating new documentation as needed.
• Analyze manufacturing and warehouse data to identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
• Explore new equipment, technologies, and manufacturing methods and share ideas to improve operations.

The Impact You'll Make

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience improving the processes and equipment that keep our manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently.

You’ll work alongside manufacturing engineers and shopfloor teams to turn ideas into practical improvements. From designing tools and fixtures to analyzing production data, your work will contribute directly to productivity, quality, and safety.

You’ll have the opportunity to apply what you’re learning in school, take ownership of meaningful projects, and build valuable experience in a real‑world manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with the design and implementation of tools, fixtures, shop aids, and equipment used in manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Partner with employees to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that make work safer, easier, and more efficient.
• Review and update procedures and work instructions, creating new documentation when needed.
• Analyze manufacturing and warehouse data to identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
• Explore new equipment, technologies, and manufacturing methods, and share ideas that can help improve our operations.

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• You are comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and can use data and information to solve problems.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with engineers, manufacturing employees, and other teams.
• You are organized and able to manage your time, priorities, and projects effectively.
• You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with the confidence to contribute new ideas and respectfully challenge existing ways of working.

The US hourly pay range for this internship is $22.00-$26 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
