Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in New Hope, MN to work with experienced engineers on projects to improve production processes and product quality. Gain practical experience in manufacturing engineering principles, tools, and techniques within a dynamic environment.

You will support tooling optimization, equipment safety and quality initiatives, and help design and construct new assembly equipment while learning process tracking on the new assembly line.

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering while in sophomore year or higher.
  • Willing to work with machinery and make modifications themselves to equipment.
  • Preferred knowledge or experience with assembly or machining equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of organizational skills and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office) with an ability to learn new systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to various projects aimed at improving production processes and enhancing product quality. This internship is designed to provide you with practical experience in manufacturing engineering principles, tools, and techniques within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
