Parker Hannifin is seeking a dedicated machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, measure finished parts, and monitor quality and safety on the shop floor. You will maintain tooling, adjust programs, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve production issues.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1+ year in machining and CNC programming preferred. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Set up and operate CNC/computer-controlled machines to perform machining functions on metal or rubber workpieces according to specifications, blueprints, and production requirements.
Measure finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures to ensure conformance to quality standards and specifications.
Monitor machine operations, control panels, tooling condition, coolant/lubrication systems, and machine performance to detect malfunctions, vibration, or quality issues; make necessary adjustments.
Change, align, secure, and maintain tools, fixtures, attachments, and workpieces; perform basic preventive maintenance and replace worn or broken tooling as needed.
Modify, load, enter, or transfer machine programs and control instructions; calculate speeds, feeds, cut positions, and work with supervisors or programmers to resolve production issues.
Follow all safety, 5S, attendance, reporting, and High-Performance Team requirements, including maintaining accurate production records and keeping the work area clean, safe, and organized.
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 1 plus years of experience in machine shop or manufacturing environment. Preferred Machine Tooling Certificate.
