Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a student intern for the Erlanger Service Center in Kentucky. You will engage in project work spanning office and shop floor settings, using data analysis, and creating progress updates for teams across engineering and operations.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, collaboration, and hands-on experience in a real-world manufacturing context. Start Jan 2027 through Apr 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
• Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the team on-site in Erlanger, Kentucky on projects often requiring independent decision-making.
• Collaborate with operators and management to identify root causes of quality defects and inefficiencies.
• Work in both office and shop floor manufacturing environments.
• Maintain multiple projects across departments.
• Create presentations in PowerPoint to communicate progress and updates.
• Analyze data with Excel or other analysis tools; support special projects as needed.
• Participate in early talent events, seminars, or trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
