Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for the Warrendale, PA facility. This paid full-time onsite summer internship runs May–August 2027, reporting to the GICP Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.

Responsibilities include documenting processes, supporting continuous improvement, creating work instructions, and analyzing performance data. You will develop dashboards with Power BI and assist with workload planning and process mapping.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering.
• Completed sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process documentation, workflow development, and standardization efforts.
• Participate in corrective action and continuous improvement projects.
• Help develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, assembly guides, and OMS documentation.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing performance data.
• Analyze manufacturing defects and non-conformances.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Support workload planning and process mapping activities.
