stdiron Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern in Hartford, Wisconsin to support the pursuit of operational excellence and sustainability. You will assist in delivering defect-free products on time while minimizing costs for customers through lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities include designing robust processes for NPI, leading RCA/CAPA, optimizing processes, providing on-floor technical support, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure schedules and safety

Qualifications

Associate degree required in mechanical design, manufacturing technology, or related field.
Experience in a manufacturing engineering environment preferred.
Alternative: equivalent education and hands-on industrial experience considered.
Strong CAD, lean manufacturing knowledge, and technical writing ability.

Responsibilities

Design and implement manufacturing processes to meet customer specs with detailed drawings and work instructions.
Lead RCA and CAPA for quality concerns for internal and external issues.
Research and test manufacturing methods to maximize throughput and minimize costs while upholding quality.
Provide real-time engineering resolution to production floor challenges to maintain schedule.
Deliver product reports and lead technical product reviews and cross-functional meetings.
Communicate customer requirements clearly with internal and external partners.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory practices.
