Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision in Jacksonville, FL is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join its manufacturing site. Selected students will support complex automated equipment, participate in machine development, and assist with equipment changes and testing protocols while tailoring work to their skills.

The role targets CPT/OPT/STEM-eligible students with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled engineering student in good standing, pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Industrial & Systems Engineering.
• Must be highly motivated, able to work independently on multiple projects under general direction, and possess strong communication skills for presenting to multidisciplinary audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support legacy and complex automated manufacturing equipment within the manufacturing engineering team.
• Contribute to machine development, equipment changes and testing protocols.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and adapt to shifting project needs.
