Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL, is recruiting for 2027 Summer Interns in the Process Engineering organization. The internship provides hands-on experience, mentoring, and networking, with involvement in design, development, manufacturing and product modifications.

Onsite assignment, May–August, 40 hours/week, housing stipend may be available. Pay rate is determined by grade level; housing assistance and company benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Actively enrolled in an accredited university for the duration of the internship pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Master's in mechanical, materials, chemical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required.
• Must have completed one year of school by the start of the internship.
• Availability to work full-time, 40hrs./week for the duration of the internship is required.
• Must be able to provide transportation to/from the work location if on‑site work is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and Analyze data to find opportunities for improvement
• Drive and influence continuous improvement activities in collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering departments
• Supervise key operational performance indicators and report results versus the established business goals and objectives.
