Stryker is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering intern in the United States. You will apply Lean Six Sigma principles, work with a mentor, and contribute to process improvements across manufacturing lines.

You’ll support defect reduction, automation ideas, and collaboration with design and operations to bring products to market efficiently. The internship emphasizes hands-on learning and real project impact.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; must remain enrolled.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Gain hands-on experience applying Lean Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment.
• Work with a mentor to identify, analyze, and implement improvements to current processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce defects, rework, or process escapes with mistake-proofing.
• Evaluate process risks and support simple automation, sensing, or verification methods.
• Collaborate with design and operations teams to bring products to market efficiently.
• Projects may include fixture development, line optimization, lean implementation, ergonomics/safety, and validation.
