Job summary

First Solar is seeking an Engineering Intern to gain experience in high-volume solar module manufacturing. You will work with a cross-functional team to monitor production performance, analyze data, and contribute to safety, quality and productivity improvements on the shop floor.

The role typically follows a Monday–Friday, 8a–5p schedule in the manufacturing plant, with a focus on hands-on learning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing at least a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Strong communication in English and comfort working in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing technicians and engineers in daily production tasks.
• Identify and solve day-to-day equipment and process challenges.
• Collect production data and perform basic statistical analysis to monitor performance.
• Contribute to safety, quality and productivity improvements.
• Develop or update process documentation and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors as needed.
