Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to assist the ME department in meeting manufacturing goals and driving continuous improvement. You will audit work instructions, update routings and bills of materials, and contribute to methods in fabrication and machining.

Responsibilities include time studies, workstation analyses, and supporting production with technical input, fixtures, tooling, and ERP usage. CREO 3D and AutoCAD experience are considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical) with GPA 3.0+.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and OneNote.

Responsibilities

• Audit and update work instructions, routings and bills of materials.
• Improve material handling methods.
• Perform time studies.
• Develop methods in fabrication and machining processes.
• Perform workstation/cell analyses to improve productivity and quality.
• Provide technical support to production personnel.
• Provide input for manufacturing fixtures and tooling.
• Assist with plant layout and workstation design.
• Learn and use ERP manufacturing software.
• Create documentation for new product launches.
• CREO 3D Modeling experience a plus.
• AutoCAD experience a plus.
