Job summary

Reports to the Engineering Manager and works in a mixed office/manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field with 2028 graduation, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field with expected graduation in 2028.
• Willingness to learn Core Molding’s business, process, and quality assurance techniques.
• Detail oriented with ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and processes.
• Must communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Apply logical thinking and sound judgment.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing plans for new products to be used to increase customer base.
• Execute testing plans for existing products in increase profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoots process, machine, and systems issues associated with current manufacturing processes and products.
• Collects and analyzes data to support manufacturing operations.
• Assists in the development and auditing of procedures.
• Engage in continual improvement activities across the company.
