Zusammenfassung

Iaas Lc is seeking an engineering student to contribute to product development and manufacturing process improvements. The role is on-site in San Jose, CA for a year, requiring at least 20 hours per week with hands-on work.

You will work with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred), 3D printing, and measurement equipment, developing documentation and supporting IQ/OQ/PQ activities while maintaining high accuracy and effective communication.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Engineering, graduation no sooner than June 2026.
• Ability to work onsite in San Jose, CA for 12 months, at least 20 hours per week.
• Strong CAD skills, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience with 3D printing is a plus.
• Familiarity with microscope and measurement equipment.
• Strong time management to juggle multiple projects.
• Clear, data-driven writing with numerical presentation.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain knowledge of product development processes, project activities, and technical and clinical fundamentals of products.
• Assist in developing, documenting, prototyping, testing, validating, and implementing new or improved manufacturing processes.
• Perform test functions on devices and equipment, providing analysis and interpretation of data.
• Create and release documentation to support production, including assembly procedures, lot history records, manufacturing specifications, work instructions, and parts lists.
• Support Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) when introducing or changing manufacturing equipment.
• Comply with all policies and standards and perform other duties as assigned by management.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Engineering at an accredited university, with graduation no sooner than June 2026.
• Ability to work onsite in San Jose, CA for 12 months, at least 20 hours per week, with hands-on work required periodically.
• Competence in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience with 3D printing is a plus.
• Familiarity with microscope and measurement equipment.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Clear and informative writing skills, including presenting numerical data effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Accuracy, thoroughness, and ability to apply feedback to improve performance.
• Strong attention to detail and quality monitoring of own work.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Knowledge of statistical software such as Minitab or JMP is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of $24.00.
