Mohr Talent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Director in West Point, MS, to lead Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, and Configuration Management teams in a high-visibility role. The position focuses on translating requirements into practical manufacturing plans while driving NPI readiness and process improvements.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing, AS9100 knowledge, and a proven leadership record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Aerospace, or related).
• 12+ years progressive experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Proven leadership managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, FAI, and configuration management.
• Track record leading NPI and manufacturing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, and Configuration Management teams
• Translate program requirements into manufacturing plans that meet cost, quality, schedule, and compliance goals
• Serve as the primary engineering interface to Program Management
• Lead engineering execution for New Product Introduction (NPI), including gate reviews and production readiness
• Drive tooling, automation, and process improvement initiatives
• Own configuration management, change control, and audit support
• Mentor and develop engineering leaders and technical staff

A well established and growing aerospace and defense manufacturer with a team that cares about their people is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead their Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, and Configuration Management functions.

What You'll Do:

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, and Configuration Management teams
• Translate program requirements into manufacturing plans that meet cost, quality, schedule, and compliance goals
