Job summary

OPmobility's BU Engineering & Development is seeking a seasoned Project Leader for manufacturing to drive projects from SOW to industrialization within a single site. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, align with the Launch Manager, and ensure lean manufacturing standards are applied throughout the program.

The role emphasizes planning, budgeting, design reviews, and execution with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a global mobility company.

Responsibilities

• Define the initial SOW for the manufacturing perimeter (scope, team, budget)
• Set up and manage overall project planning
• Lead manufacturing project reviews, consolidate actions, and provide structured reporting
• Participate in design reviews and QUAD reviews
• Ensure Launch Readiness activities are tracked with the Launch Manager
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements
• Coordinate activities of the extended team
• Define global industrial scenario (production processes & supply chains)
• Apply OPmobility manufacturing standards following lean principles
• Provide DFM input and ensure design integration
• Validate plant capacity against project volumes
• Lead industrialization within plants and SILs after transfer
• Manage manufacturing cost drivers (cycle time, manpower, investments, logistics)
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-optimization initiatives
• Define and manage the project provisional budget and resource alignment
• Track scope changes and report risks or gaps
• Contribute to progress plans and post-project lessons learned
• Offer retirement savings and employee recognition programs
