Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a dedicated Site Launch Engineer to drive the industrialization and launch of new programs at the plant level. You will collaborate with program management, engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant launches.

The role requires 4–6 years in manufacturing or program launch, with automotive supplier experience preferred. You will oversee SOP readiness, validate processes, and ensure robust KPIs during ramp-up.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 4–6 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or program launch; automotive exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site-level new product launch activities from SOP readiness through ramp-up.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (production, quality, logistics, maintenance) for launches.
  • Ensure PPAP, APQP, control plans, PFMEA are met before SOP.
  • Monitor ramp-up performance and implement continuous improvement actions.
  • Track deliverables, risks, and conduct launch reviews and readiness meetings.
  • Maintain adherence to safety, cost, and delivery objectives.
