Job summary

Analogic in New Hampshire is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to support a range of engineering and manufacturing initiatives. You will review tolerancing on drawings, collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Production to ensure changes are fully vetted, and assist with process improvements and data analysis.

You will collect and interpret manufacturing data using Minitab and Excel, develop and maintain documentation, and support equipment maintenance and optimization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with statistics and data-driven problem solving techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead tolerancing reviews on released drawings using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Production to vet engineering changes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost production efficiency and quality.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data using Minitab, Excel, and other tools.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process diagrams.
• Assist with maintenance, calibration, and optimization of manufacturing equipment.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and improve processes.
• Ensure activities comply with safety policies and quality standards.

Job description

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op, you will support a variety of engineering and manufacturing initiatives, including:

Engineering Project Support

• Lead efforts to review and update tolerancing on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Production teams to ensure engineering changes are fully vetted, documented, and compliant with customer requirements.

Process Improvement

• Support manufacturing technicians in identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance production efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.

Data Analysis

• Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and process data using Minitab, Microsoft Excel, and other analytical tools.
• Identify trends, investigate issues, and provide data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making.

Documentation & Process Development

• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including:
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Work Instructions
• Process Flow Diagrams
• Process and Engineering Documentation

Equipment & Manufacturing Support

• Assist with the maintenance, calibration, and optimization of manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable operation and performance.
• Support ongoing production activities and engineering projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Production, and R&D teams to support business objectives and improve manufacturing processes.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

What You'll Bring

Education

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in:
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Or a related engineering discipline

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data-driven problem-solving techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
